Wiltshire Youth for Christ has delivered Summer Pop-Up Youth Cafés since 2015, engaging hundreds of teenagers each year in communities including Trowbridge, Devizes, Melksham, Marlborough, Downton and Calne. Our Pop-Up Youth Cafés create welcoming, temporary spaces in rural and urban areas, either independently or alongside community events. Through holistic youth work, we support young people’s personal, social, educational and spiritual development, helping them make positive choices, find their voice and reach their full potential.

Delivered in partnership with local churches, community groups, Wiltshire Council Area Boards, Local Youth Networks and Wiltshire Police, the project brings hope, connection and opportunity to young people. Since 2019, our mobile Pop-Up Youth Van has enabled us to reach more communities. Equipped with iPads, games consoles, refreshments, sports equipment and covered seating areas, it provides a flexible, engaging space for activities, conversation and connection. In response to the lasting impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, the van offers an innovative way to reach young people in isolated, underserved and under-resourced communities, working alongside local organisations to ensure more young people have access to support and positive opportunities.
